This revolutionary approach is paving the way for a more sustainable future in LFP battery recycling. 

We are expanding our current scale of operations and are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. Working closely with the R&D team, this hire will work on our cutting-edge recycling equipment to accelerate the advancement of pilots and concepts to scalable, refined commercial products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with a team to optimize NEU's electrolyzer lithium-ion battery recycling system
  • Developing innovative solutions to enhance both the performance and efficiency of NEU's recycling system
  • Carry out 3D modelling and flow analysis for ideation, designing, implementation and troubleshooting of technological solutions
  • Conduct testing and analysis on improved mechanical solutions for operational feasibility
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and manufacturers for implementation into NEU's recycling line
  • Ensure safety and system reliability of recycling line
  • Overall project management of solution testing and recycling operation

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Engineering
  • 2-3 years work experience
  • Familiar with 3D modeling, solidworks, ANSYS, simulation
  • Preferable with electrolysers experience
  • Self-driven, independent and resourceful
  • Effective team player with good communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication in English
