We are a lithium ion battery recycling startup that uses our patented world’s first electrochemical process to recycle batteries. We strive to push for a cleaner battery recycling environment, for a better place for our world, country and families. We do this by transforming the recycling industry by reducing pollution and contributing to a cleaner battery recycling environment. With support from Temasek Foundation, ComfortDelGro, Momentum VC (SMRT), and so many more, we have built our plant in Singapore.

We are a young and fast growing startup, looking for individuals who have the energy and willingness to push the boundaries of technologies. We are looking for individuals who possess the following skill sets to help with the scaling up of our business.

Who You Are

We’re looking to hire an intern that can support NEU’s business development activities. If you’re wanting to work in a position shaping the future of our electric transition, then NEU Battery Materials just might be the place for you. This is a fantastic opportunity to further accelerate NEU Battery business while growing professionally and personally in a highly dynamic startup environment. You will work on a broad range of different tasks in the business development area ranging from highly strategic to operative topics. The whole team is eager to get you up to speed by providing you with the most up-to-date battery technology and recycling market knowledge.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Research and provide insights into the latest market developments, raw material updates, competitors, etc. as the foundation for all further activities
• Identify and profile suitable customers, recycling companies as well as cooperation partners and their key decision-makers
• Develop hypotheses on the business development strategy, target customers and suppliers, collaboration models, etc.
• Prepare communication with external stakeholders and participate in virtual as well as in-person meetings
